Attorney Wooten represented the parents and estate of a 17-year-old girl who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in December 2014. After a two-day trial in the 67th District Court, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of our clients.

Client RadioShack sued for breach of contract and negligence after it hired a company to ship a load of cell phones on a truck. The case involved a subcontractor that left the truck unattended. The truck was stolen and the cell phones disappeared.

Skydiving accident case:

Attorney Wooten and co-counsel represented a 16-year-old girl who was injured in a skydiving accident that occurred in Oklahoma. She survived falling from 3500 feet but suffered serious and disabling injuries including a head injury, a broken back and several internal organ injuries. The skydiving company was found to be responsible due to inadequate training.

Multiple vehicle accident involving a truck driver. Clients received $252,036.86 after attorney’s fees and case expenses.
Commercial truck accident case:
We represented a career police officer who was on the job and was rear-ended by a commercial tow truck. He sustained serious and debilitating injuries to his back and neck requiring surgical intervention to both. We settled and got a cash settlement and lifetime payments for the client, who has since retired.
Delivery vehicle accident case:
We represented a man who was hit by a Pizza Hut delivery vehicle while standing in front of his house. He received permanent and disabling injuries including multiple broken bones, a traumatic brain injury and nerve damage to his extremities.
